The steering makes a “clink” sound toward the end. When I look up from below, I can see where the chain attaches to the wire rope is hitting the metal piece that secures the wires to the side.

There is a sprocket attached to an old autopilot attached to the system.

Need to inspect and probably replace the wire rope.
